Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Farm Hand to assist with daily farm operations. This role is a mix of equipment operation and hands-on livestock work, offering a great opportunity to gain well-rounded farm experience, including exposure to modern dairy technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain farm equipment (tractors and other machinery)
Assist with daily livestock care (feeding, monitoring, handling)
Work with and support robotic milking systems (Lely A4 units)
Help monitor, clean, and perform basic maintenance on milking robots (training provided)
Perform general farm duties including fencing, cleaning, and maintenance
Support seasonal tasks such as haying and field work
Follow farm safety and animal welfare standards

Qualifications:

Some prior farm or equipment experience preferred (but not required)
Willingness to learn—training will be provided, including robotic milking systems
Comfortable working with livestock
Mechanically inclined is an asset (training provided in supportive work environment)
Physically capable of handling outdoor, manual work in varying weather conditions
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Working Conditions & Schedule:

Hours vary throughout the summer depending on seasonal demands
Regular days off provided, with scheduling adjusted around peak periods such as harvest
